Sherif Ghali, then CEO of the Ghana Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs, advised aspiring young entrepreneurs to work first, learn on the job and build up modest capital before going into business alone. He spoke at a two-day CV review clinic in Kumasi, where about 200 jobseekers had their CVs edited and were trained on labour laws and workers’ rights. The clinic is part of the GrEEn project, a four-year EU-funded initiative on youth employment in the Ashanti and Western regions through skills training and support for green businesses.
