Yepafrica, a Dutch NGO that has spent about 15 years training young Africans in entrepreneurship, launched its Ghana chapter in Accra, alongside a free five-day training programme for jobseekers and graduates. The first cohort trained from 29 May to 2 June 2023 at Lakeside Marina Park and graduated, with participants reporting more confidence and a stronger entrepreneurial mindset. The organisation already runs centres in the Gambia and Senegal.
The Ghana foundation is chaired by Munnira Sheikh, who plans five learning centres across the country, and Yepafrica intends to base its African headquarters in Accra while it seeks investors and funding partners.
