The Data Link Institute of Business and Technology held its 2024 techno-preneurship fair to expose students to business ideas that combine technology and entrepreneurship, under the theme “Sustaining Entrepreneurial Drive through Digitalisation and Innovation”. The institute’s leadership said many graduates with good ideas struggle without guidance and announced career counselling services.

Sherif Ghali, then CEO of the Ghana Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs, told students that limited access to funding, weak capacity to build a business and difficulty reaching markets hold young entrepreneurs back. He urged young people to start businesses at any scale and asked government to create enabling environments, strengthen local institutions, offer youth-friendly financing and support entrepreneurs beyond the start-up stage.
